WE Foundation Scholarship Program

The WE Foundation has been honored to award many scholarships over the past several years to deserving Windsor High School (WHS) seniors who continued their education after high school graduation.

Last year, the scholarship program was redesigned as part of a mentorship program tied to a WHS student’s senior project. The scholarship committee looks for students who have an education goal beyond high school. This can be a four year college, junior college or career college. The committee also considers as a major factor in the selection process any obstacles or difficulties the applicants have overcome in their high school years or prior.

In April 2016 the WE Foundation awarded four $1,000 scholarships to outstanding students. As an added surprise the committee awarded Zac Swift a $1,000 scholarship as well in recognition of his hard work in redesigning the scholarship program for his senior project.
